Welcome to my page!
Art and Creativity gives us the ability to express ourselves. Through that expression, we communicate by drawing on our own unique emotions, thoughts and experiences. When you see and study another's art, you're seeing the world through their eyes. When you create, you're letting the world see through yours.
Hi! My name is Priti. I have been privileged enough to be able to do what I love for the last 9 years. I can't even really call it work! I absolutely LOVE and take joy in every moment of this wonderful career that has allowed me to teach drawing, painting, and everything in between. I've always had an interest and talent in art since I was a young child. That interest only grew into my adulthood. I decided that a career in Graphic Arts would be the perfect way for me to be able to express my talents and at the same time be able to make a living. What I didn't quite realize was that I had a passion for teaching as well. There was a time that I took another path and journeyed into the world of Real Estate. This was a completely new experience for me. Although I did enjoy it, I knew that there was something missing and that was the chance to be creative and express my creative talents. Now I am so happy to be able to share my love for arts in the classroom in a more digital manner as well as to share my joy of so many mediums from watercolours, acrylics, oils, and pastels for drawing and painting.
The experiences I have been able to encounter during this journey have meant so much to me and opened up a new perspective of the world and people around me. Teaching and giving people the encouragement to believe they can accomplish something they thought they couldn't has brought me such a feeling of joy and accomplishment. I knew my passion was in the arts, but I never really realized that it was also in education.
I have had the opportunity to work with adults, seniors, teenagers & children. I have taught people with exceptionalities including those that are hearing and vision impaired. All these wonderful experiences and positive feedback from people has given me the drive to do my best in every paint party or lesson I have held.
As for my artistic background........ I spent a lot of time drawing when I was young. ( I wasn't allowed out, lol) I was constantly winning coloring contests and you wouldn't find me without a pencil in hand doodling. After being a graphic designer for many years. I decided I wanted a change and wanted to be able to share my talent with others. One small paint party at a friend's led to another and then another and it all snowballed from there! And here I am today happier than ever doing what I love and being able to share the joy of it with people around me!!
My classroom experience has been amazing. I have had a chance to really connect with the students. I not only built a wonderful Graphic Design Unit but also had the opportunity to teach audio and video. I have been able to not only build my skills in lesson planning and delivery but also in how to assess and evaluate my students, using differentiated learning and being able to accommodate all my students especially the ones with IEP's.
As a health and wellness tool, I have also had the opportunity to build art lessons with a focus on curriculum expectations and being able to tie them into my colour theory lesson.
I look forward to my journey in teaching and all the learning opportunities and development along the way!

Adult Wine and Paint Nights
Grab a couple of your closest friends and get ready for an amazing night of creating your own masterpiece!
What's amazing about private parties is that the evening can be planned exactly how you like! Some like to make it a potluck, and some decide on hors d'oeuvres and wine. The choice is yours. You can plan your party any way you like. Don't forget the wine!
Kids Parties
Kids' parties are set up exactly as adult paint parties are! I have tons of wonderful designs to choose from, however, if there is something in particular that your child would really love to paint that I do not currently have, we can work together to come up with something amazing!
Virtual Adult & Kids Parties
I'm offering virtual parties for both kids and adults. A great way to be able to spend time with your family from around the world while painting and have fun. Once booked I will send everyone a Zoom meeting invite and we can start creating and having fun.
Paint Package
I'm offering paint packs that include everything needed for your own virtual paint night. The pack includes a 12"x16" professional canvas, an assortment of paintbrushes, and 1-2oz. of Black, Red, Blue, White, and Yellow. Please reach out to arrange a paint pack today.
Fundraisers
I am all about fundraisers. To date I have helped fundraise for churches, hockey teams, dance studios, daycares, schools, toy drives and the list goes on.
