In-Person Events

Q: How do I select my painting for the event?

A: All of my paintings are located on my gallery page, simply select the painting you would like and let me know. I like to review and make suggestions based on the age group to ensure everyone has the same results.

Q: Once I book what is the next step?

A: Once you have confirmed your date and time with us, we will put you in our calendar and discuss details as we go. We will need your email in order to send you your secure zoom link and any other items that will need to be emailed. You do not need to know your painting selection right away. As long as we know 1.5 weeks in advance it will give us time to prepare for your event.

Q: How long is the Event/Party?

A: Typically, the event is 1.5-2 hours from start to finish depending on if we are painting with children or adults.

Q: How does payment work?

A: Payment can be made anytime before the event via Interac e-transfer, or Paypal. (Depending on the event. The payment email is paintitpriti@gmail.com for both.

Q: Do we have to use the same colours as the paintings in the gallery?

A: Absolutly not! This is your painting so you are free to change it up and get creative!

Q: Can I find a painting online on another site for my event?

A: Due to copyright laws, I can not copy other works of art, however, if you find something you like please send it my way several weeks before the event and I can come up with my own painting based on the image, to have something original.   

Q: When do I confirm my numbers for the event/party?

A: I need to have confirmed numbers  at least 2 weeks prior to the event to prepare and get all of the supplies and potential cutouts made.

Q: What areas do you service in Ontario?

A: I typically travel within approximatelly 30-35 minutes from Stoney Creek(HWY50 and QEW), some locations are Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Grimbsy, Ancaster, Binbrook, Burlington, Oakville. Some further distances will require a travel fee of $25.

Q: Where can I find paintings for our event?

A: I have a bunch of different artwork designs to choose from on https://paintitpriti.com/gallery 

Q: What if I don't meet the minimum quantity of guests for an event?

A: There will still be the standard cost to come out to do your party but its ok to have less attend to make it a more quiet and intimate gathering.

Virtual Events

Q: Is there a minimum/maximum for an event?

A: Yes, there is a minimum number of 8 for Virtual birthday events, however, if you have less than a flat rate will be charged. Numbers will vary for other events, and we can hold up to 100 participants.  

Q: Do you need Zoom to attend a Virtual event?

A: No you don't, Zoom will open in a web browser, but you will have more features if you download the desktop application from zoom.us  

Q: What supplies do I need to participate?

A: Canvas, acrylic paint, (a variety of colours will do, no need to match what you see on the original) a selection of brushes, paper towel, a cup with water, paper plate,  apron/paint shirt, chalk, a pencil, sponge(some paintings)   

Q: How Should I prepare for my Virtual paint party?

A: Ensure you and your guests have all of the painting supplies are ready, Zoom is open, and your mic is muted approx. 5-10 minutes before the event and most of all have fun.

Q: Can I find a painting online on another site for my event?

Q: Will the Virtual Event/Paint party be recorded?

A: Yes, we like to record the event or paint party if it is one of our events posted on FB, just in case you missed anything and can look back and finish up anytime.  However private paint parties are not recorded unless requested to.

Q: Will I be able to ask questions during the Event or paint party?

A: Yes, absolutely. We are happy to answer all questions during events, our goal is for everyone to have fun.

Q: When do I confirm my numbers for the event/party?

A: If paint kits are being made at least 1.5 weeks. If only virtual a couple of days beforehand will be ok.

Q: What's included in the paint kits?

A: A set of brushes, 12"x16" stretched canvas, 1-2 oz of professional quality acrylic paint (will vary depending on the painting selected), a cup,  foam plate (use as a palette), stencils or cutouts as needed, as well as any other small items that may be needed for the selected painting.
